High Quality Canvas Print Guide
With the ever increasing number of online canvas art galleries it can be extremely difficult when making a decision about which design and where to purchase your wall art prints from. Here we aim to provide you with as much information as possible about our products and the manufacturing processes behind them so you can make an informed decision. To distinguish our selves from the competition we have worked hard at building a reputation for providing a high quality product at an affordable price, supplying canvas prints that can only be purchased exclusively through our online art gallery meaning that you will not find our artwork available anywhere else. We are also very selective about the designs we display, and only offer you a collection of artwork that we consider original and aesthetically pleasing. Listed below you can read detailed descriptions of the individual stages involved in the production of your stretched prints.
Canvas Quality
Canvas used for giclee print reproductions can often vary greatly with regard to its quality and fabric structures, commonly used are thin synthetic materials which appear unnatural and make for a poor print quality. For us it is essential to use a premium grade fine art canvas designed for high-end reproductions that require exceptional gamut and longevity. Due to the presence of the natural components (cotton) in the canvas we use it allows for a pronounced and decorative finish to your artwork giving it a gallery like finish. The canvases satin coating provides an excellent finish to your prints making them scratch and water resistant. To further this the canvas also has a highly stable white base with an increased discolouration resistance to ultraviolet light which eliminates any fading, so you can rest assured that your canvas art prints will look as good as they day you purchased them for many years to come.
Canvas Printing Quality
When printing your photo canvas prints or creating one of our original prints we only employ the highest quality giclee print process available. As we specialise in giclee printing all materials and methods implemented are purpose built for high quality fine art productions. Unlike the most commonly used 6 or 8 colour systems our printer utilises a 12-colour LUCIA pigment ink system providing an unprecedented colour spectrum ensuring your artwork remains faithful to the original image, also giving a broader gamut for greater tonal range and a more precise reproduction of colour. As well as offering 4 monochrome shades which allows for a greater black and white tonal range and a more dramatic light-to-dark contrast with a superior mid tone clarity. By using advanced ink technologies like this it gives your artwork a far higher resistance to fading (up to 100 years and longer) and increases the resistance to any accidental scratches, we are confident you will find the results nothing less than spectacular.
Limited Edition Canvas Art Prints
We believe it is important to maintain a high level of exclusivity across our entire collection of artwork, which is why we remain committed to ensuring each design is limited to a small print run only. Each of our limited edition designs come accompanied by a unique certificate of authenticity printed onto canvas, hand signed, numbered and dated by the artist. Once a run of limited edition prints comes to an end they will not be reissued in any signed or un-signed print editions.
